In case you missed it, here are the announcements for the weekend of Christmas:

1. There will be no 5:00 p.m. mass on Sunday, New Years Day.

2. Please pick up your January 2012 ministry schedule in the back of the Church.

3. There will be a second collection next week, December 31 and January 1, 2012 in conjunction with the Catholic Relief services effort to help the more than 50,000 people in Philippines who were affected by the severe flooding due to Tropical storm Washi.

4. MPCC’s  “Marriage Night” will be on Friday, January 20th, at 7 p.m. in the church at Sacred Heart parish. The title is “God, Help Us! Making Marriage Work While Raising Our Kids”.   We will have a light dinner in the hall at 6:00, and child care 6:40 to 9:10 p.m.  There are sign-up sheets in the back of the church.

5. There will be no Religious Education classes on January 1 2012.  Classes will resume on January 8, 2012

6. Mandatory parent meeting for those receiving First Holy Communion on January 8, 2012 at 10:15 a.m. at classroom 2B.
