Food, Fun & Fellowship

Saint Pius Feast Day Celebration

Food, fun and fellowship were enjoyed by all, as parishioners, family and friends celebrated St. Pius X’s Feast Day last Saturday night and Sunday morning. Saturday evening festivities began with light Pupus of nachos, edamame and chips & clam
dip. The main entree of Beef Stew & Rice with sides of green tossed salad, potato macaroni salad, fresh fruit, pickled onions and dinner rolls were prepared by Chefs Abbie & Libert Tong. Desserts were provided by Abbie, Betty Tanaka, Clara Chang and Felipe Tan. Leah McEvoy and Willa Papandrew completed the meal with a table side Root Beer Float service.

On Sunday morning, a Brunch was served after 8:30am mass, which featured Fried Rice, Sausage, Ham and more Stew and Rice. Sides were Haupia Cake, Bread Pudding, Rolls, Spam Musubi and Fresh Fruit. Flowers were provided by Norma Koike, Robert & Brenda Yoseda and Angie Silvia.
